The MCS-1000/1 Mini Wood Lathe is the ideal machine for high speed sanding and polishing of finish work. It has a large working capacity of 40" (1000 mm) center distance, 14 inch (350 mm) cutting diameter. The 4-speed 890/1260/1760/2600 RPM motor delivers ample power for heavy duty use.
The cast iron construction makes this wood lathe solid and durable. Solid steel build wood lathe for durability and strength, providing increased stability and smooth operation, reducing vibration. Large worktable provides plenty of space to work on multiple projects at once.
This mini wood lathe features an adjustable tailstock with a quick-release feature that allows you to easily move the tailstock up or down for optimal positioning during your turning project. This allows you to get closer to your workpiece without having to move the entire machine around or damage any furniture or walls in your shop by bumping into them while moving it around.
This compact lathe has enough power to handle larger projects such as bowls, platters and more. The powerful 1 horsepower motor enables you to turn hardwoods like walnut at high speeds with ease! This lathe comes complete with a rip fence and tool rest so that you can get started turning right away.
It is capable of turning projects up to 14 inches in diameter. It features a belt drive system that provides plenty of power for heavy cuts and also makes it easy to change speeds.
