Metric feeler stock in 300mm lengths, 12·7mm wide. Rounded ends. Each piece marked with thickness and with convenient 3/16" (5mm) hole for hanging.
Metric feeler stock has been available in the U.S. for many years and is often used as a substitute for English-style standards when the precision of metric is required. The reasons are many; some of them include:

• Metric feeler gauges have a "standard" tolerance range that is not easily exceeded by most manufacturers, so there is less chance of error from gauge variation than from standard deviation in the manufacturing process.
• Metric feeler gauges are made from hardened steel or stainless steel material that resists wear better than softer carbon steel or brass materials used for English-style standards.
• The tolerances on metric feeler gauges are closer together than on English-style standards, making it easier to get closer readings with less play between gauge and workpiece surface.
