Mobil Grease Mobil XHP 222 is a lithium complex Grease with a dark blue appearance. It has high resistance to water, great thermal stability and exceptional adhesive properties. This makes it the ideal choice for use in sliding applications where frequent water exposure is a possibility. It has excellent anti wear properties, rust and corrosion resistance and good water resistance. It is recommended for use where its life is not critical but where a low temperature range and light load must be maintained to provide corrosion protection.
It has good load distribution characteristics and its water repellency offers extra protection against corrosion in many commonly used ball/roller applications. This industrial lubricant also helps reduce friction and wear in metal to metal contact areas, therefore extending the lifespan of machinery, equipment and tools. It is designed for applications where superior wear protection is required. It contains highly refined base stock and lithium complex thickener to provide excellent heat resistance and load carrying ability, while keeping the Grease fluid at elevated temperatures.
